What are the current regulations for travelling to Romania from abroad?

We are constantly checking the up-to-date regulations. For the countries that are currently whitelisted (provided you have a vaccination passport or a valid PCR test) please visit:

Do you need to be vaccinated in order to participate at the Festival?

You can participate at the Festival if you meet any of the following conditions: a) you have a vaccination certificate older than 10 days and a photo ID b) you have a negative PCR test not older than 72 hours and a photo ID; c) you have a negative result of a rapid antigen test, taken at the entrance. We offer the possibility of antigen testing at the festival entrance, for a fee of 40 RON. This type of test allows you to enter the Festival for 24 hours. d) you have a certificate showing that you went through COVID more than 15 but less than 90 days ago.

How can I get to Méra?

Méra is only 13 km away from Cluj Napoca. You can get here by car, train, bus or bike. During the festival we operate regular buses to and from Méra, you will find more info on our Transport page.

Do you have parking?

You can park your car on the streets of the village.

Do you have camping?

The Festival doesn't have a camping ground, and due to the COVID situation, this year we are not able to provide camping spots or accommodation in the village.

Do kids receive free admission?

Kids under the age of 12 have free admission, they only have to purchase a voucher of 15 ron that can be used for purchases anywhere on the Festival.

Can I bring food and drinks?

It is not allowed to enter the Festival with your own food, drink or PET bottles. The Méra Bar has everything you need. Exempt from this rule is the food and drink required for kids under the age of 2.

Can I bring pets?

Yes, but dogs need to wear a muzzle (except guide dogs) and must be kept on a leash at all times.

Can I pay with card?

Yes, you can pay with your credit card at the festival.

Is my Méra 2020 ticket valid for this year's Festival?

Yes. In case you do not want to participate this year, please write us a mail at until the 15th of July and we will transfer your ticket to the next, restriction-free edition of the Festival.
