The goal of the Stenk band is to present authentic folk music in a way that remains true to tradition while being dynamic and full of energy.The band was brought together primarily by friendship. They follow the classic line-up of two violins, viola, and double bass, occasionally enriching their sound with accordion or cimbalom.The members come from different regions: Kónya Előd from Transylvania, Magyar Soma from America, Juhász Sándor from Felvidék (Upper Hungary), and Szabó Marcell from Hungary joined the band. Their diversity finds a common ground in Budapest, the city that ultimately brought them together.
