The Pergő band was formed in 2022 in Marosvásárhely/ Târgu Mureș, but their musical collaboration, learning, and joyful playing dates back to earlier years. They feel close not only to Hungarian folk music but also to Roma and Romanian folk traditions. Friendship turned into a band, and the band has further deepened their friendship.
