The Olah Gipsy Beats project was created by Kovács Antal, the leader of Romano Drom. It brings together the finest representatives of Hungary’s Roma bands on a single stage.Their music is both traditional and modern, with a repertoire that blends ancient songs—still often performed in small communities—with contemporary urban pieces and music from other countries.
