“We create a genre that was born from Hungarian instrumental culture and set out to explore the world.”András Nagy Csomor and his band primarily build on the musical traditions of the Carpathian Basin. Their goal, however, is to shape folk music, café-style Romani music, jazz, flamenco, salsa, Balkan music, and many other world music genres in their own style, without compromising the essential character of the genres. They aim to present all of this in a stage-ready form, accessible to both professional and general audiences, creating a truly enjoyable atmosphere for everyone seeking entertainment.
