The Székelyföldi Énekiskola / Folk Singing School was founded in 2019 in Miercurea Ciuc (Csíkszereda). Its members are more than forty children from the regions of Ciuc, Gheorgheni, Trei Scaune, and Odorhei, forming a community that embodies the beauty of Hungarian folk songs and the joy of singing together. They have performed their rich repertoire at numerous events in Transylvania and abroad.
In their current concert, accompanied by the Katlan zenekar, they present a selection from the lesser-known folk song collections of Zoltán Kallós, as well as hidden folk song treasures from the regions of Ciuc and Erdővidék.
