Katlan is a folk band from Cluj-Napoca/Kolozsvár made up of young musicians dedicated to presenting traditional music in a fresh, bold, yet authentic and tradition-rooted way. Alongside promoting the Hungarian, Romanian, and Roma folk music of the Carpathian Basin, the band is also committed to performing American folk music in its most authentic form. For this special occasion, they will take the stage in Mera/Méra together with the Székelyföld Singing School, which has been active in Miercurea Ciuc/Csíkszereda since 2019.
