in.dia is a Portuguese instrumental duo formed by Diogo Passos and Hugo Gamboias, rooted in Coimbra Fado. The project began in 2019 after being invited to perform at the Calcutta International Classical Guitar Festival. Blending traditional influences with original compositions, their music reflects the present while honoring their heritage.
Their debut album in.dia (2021), funded through a successful crowdfunding campaign, was released alongside a book of scores and tablatures—an uncommon initiative in this genre. That same year, they won the “Best Instrumental Performance” award at the International Portuguese Music Awards.The duo has performed at major festivals such as Correntes de um Só Rio, the International Guitar Festivals of Seville and Castelo Branco, Suoni Mobili, and toured in Sweden.
